OMG, well things have been going rather crazy in life the last few months, really it didn’t go crazy till the beginning of October, and stayed that way till the middle of November for the most part. My wife works for the fed gov’t and I support as a contractor, so Oct 1 she got furloughed and I kept going to work, she got no pay, but I kept getting paid, thank goodness on that. The upside is the federal gov’t got reopened last week, and the wife is back to work and we got made whole in terms of back pay owed, so some stress got relieved in those terms.
But wait, then it gets interesting, where on Friday things were looking up really good, then Saturday, the wife and I went to have a nice day, weather was great here on the East Coast so we drove down to OC and played some mini golf at this little Xmas themed mini golf course, was fun, then went and walked the boards at OC as well for a bit. Where things got interesting is when we got home, apparently our Garage door decided to give up the ghost, it took an hour plus to get it closed for the night, and nearly 2K later it was fixed on Sunday. And then less than an hour later it was broke again after it was supposed to be fixed, I think the safety sensors are off and causing the issue, but not sure so got the repair guy coming back out today to get it working again.
On the art side of things I am working my way back to starting some figure drawing and getting back to painting which I haven’t done in months either. Having to go back to the office full time really killed off my time and what I have available as extra time, so I have to work on my scheduling of things, to get drawing and painting time in plus still get my workouts in on the daily. Those usually get done at 3AM during the week but sometimes I can’t get my ass up so I wind up not doing them in the AM. All in all by next week I am hoping to have my schedule worked out to get time to do all things I want to do.
Well just wanted to do a quick update because I haven’t posted here in a long time though I didn’t intend for that to happen.
